Christmas Bows and Gift Bags

We run a business from our home, and the usually available extra closet storage has business supplies. For years, I kept the sticky bows in a bag and hung the bag in a closet. Bows were always readily accessible.

Gift bags had been kept in another area, where they seemed always to get strewn around the cuboard shelf as family members used other items in that storage area. When I decided to store the gift bags in a bag I could hang on a hanger, it solved both problems. The former storage area is now orderly and the bags are neat and tidy, too.

I kept my spools of ribbon in a box we had received from Harry & David (the fruit-a-month company). The box that had a flip-top, like an egg carton has. In it I stored the smaller folded wrapping paper that you can buy for special occasions. Smaller pieces of Christmas gift wrap left from cutting pieces off the roll were also folded to fit the box. On one side of the contents, I placed a piece of corrugated cardboard, which helps keep the paper upright.

The bags are placed on hangers and stored together in a closet, taking up very little space.
